Gordon is an 8 year old labradoodle who, from the age of 1.5 years, struggled with diarrhea and vomiting. His parents reported that he did have trouble with some bad dog food that went unreported. After at least 10 visits to the veterinarian and finding black urine, they rushed him to the hospital where he underwent care to bring his kidneys back to proper functioning.
After recovering from this and, of course, never giving him that dog food again, they tried food after food after food. They cooked his food, tried raw food, different kibble, cooked his food again, consulted with a holistic veterinarian and on it went. They spent thousands of dollars.
