Morgan Flat Coated Retriever

Name: Morgan
Breed: Flat Coated Retriever
Age: 9 years old
Sex: Male

My dog, Morgan, is alive because of the NutriScan test.

Before NutriScan
Morgan was scoped and diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) around 2011. The scope revealed he had internal lesions from stem to stern. Morgan had continual flare ups due to the IBD, which sometimes would result in vomiting or mucousy bloody diarrhea. His mom felt so bad for his constant suffering she was ready to let her sweet baby go.

NutriScan Revealed
Morgan has sensitivities to duck, pork, soy, turkey, venison, wheatwhite fish, barley, egg, lentils, millet, oatmeal, peanuts, potatoes, quinoa, rice, salmon and sweet potatoes.

After NutriScan
Morgan’s symptoms cleared up quickly and his mom decided to start home cooking for him. His veterinarians are amazed! He also lost 10 pounds and has maintained his new weight. His coat has also regained its shine, his eyes are brighter and he is usually mistaken for a puppy.

I started off giving Morgan beef and carrots, cooked in a crock pot.  A friend of mine suggested pureeing the food for easier digestion. Today, Morgan’s Mash consists of:  4 lb. beef; 2.5 lb. carrots; 2.5 lb. zucchini; 2 eggplants; 1 lb. kale; 14 oz. tomatoes; 4 glucosamine pills ground up and coconut oil.  That amount of food lasts him for 6 days.  Yes, it’s a pain in the butt to home prepare his meals, but I still have my silly Morgan, a flat coated retriever!
